Project Dashboard - Add widgets to your project
The widget library consists of 8 widgets that you can add to your project based on your management module. There are also 3 default (standard) widgets. These are:
Widgets that are added to your project from the widget library can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
Follow the steps below to add widgets from the widget library to your project.
Navigate to your project dashboard and click the WIDGET LIBRARY button.
You can add widgets individually by clicking the “ADD” button on the top-right of each widget, or add all at once by clicking the “ADD ALL” button on the top-right hand side of your screen.
Remove widgets from your project
Follow the steps below to remove widgets from the widget library from your project.
Navigate to your project dashboard and locate the widget you wish to remove.
On the top-right hand side of the widget there is a “REMOVE” button, click this button and to remove this widget from the menu.
"Items to action" widget
The items to action widget is a default widget. It displays all items in your project that are outstanding, including bids and management forms with due dates.
This widget is effectively a “to-do” list for your project but also serves as a shortcut to each outstanding item, as users are able to click on an item to view and action it.
After an item is closed off, it is removed from the items to action list.
The “MY ITEMS” tab represents all outstanding items that relate to you, whereas “ALL ITEMS” display all outstanding items for all project team members.
Project team members and project collaborators (i.e. contacts outside of your organisation that are related to an item to action) will see this widget in their dashboard.
However, contacts from outside of your organisation will only ever see items that relate to them in their widget lists (i.e. not items that relate to other contacts).
"Recent activity" widget
The recent activity widget is a default widget. It displays a log of activities from across your whole project. This widget lists activities from across the documents, bids and management sections, including date and time stamps for each.
Project team members and project collaborators (i.e. contacts outside of your organisation that are related to an activity) will see this widget in their dashboard.
However, contacts from outside of your organisation will only ever see activities that relate to them in their widget lists (i.e. not activities that relate to other contacts).
"New documents" widget
The new documents widget is a default widget. It displays a list of all documents that have been added within the last 7 days.
Project team members and project collaborators (i.e. contacts outside of your organisation that have access to document folders) will see this widget in their dashboard.
However, contacts from outside of your organisation will only see documents that are related to folders to which they have been given shared access in their widget lists.
"Bids (Tenders)" widget
The bids (tenders) widget displays a real-time snapshot of your project’s bidding (tendering) module. It displays the number of contractors that have been invited to price all bid (tender) packages and their related invitation response.
It also provides insights in to bid (tender) invitation response percentage and notes the date the next bid (tender) is due to be awarded.
The bids (tenders) widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
"Change Order/Variations" widget
The change order (variations) widget displays a real-time snapshot of your project’s Change Order/Variations Register. It also provides insights in to change orders/variations resolution efficiency and notes the approval percentage of change orders/variations amounts submitted.
The average days to close a change order/variation notice is also displayed to give your team members an idea of the average turn around time for change orders/variations approvals.
The change orders/variations widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see it).
"Daily log" widget
The daily log widget displays all daily log entry types across a selected month in a line graph format.
This can give your project team members insights into activities across the construction site, including the number of workers on site, accidents/incidents, deliveries and other information.
Project team members can select the metrics they are most interested in by clicking the overflow button on the top-right hand side of the widget and selecting each metric from the filter.
The daily log widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
"Extension of time" widget
The extension of time (EOT) widget displays a real-time snapshot of the current state of your project’s EOT register. It also provides insights into the months where the most delays have occurred on site and a comparison of current vs. original practical completion dates for the project.
The average days to close an EOT notice is also displayed to give team members an idea of the average turn around time for extension of time approvals.
The extension of time widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
"Punchlist/Variations" widget
The Punchlist/Variations widget displays a real-time snapshot of your project’s Punchlist/Variations register and provides insights in to the most problematic areas and services on site.
It also shows metrics related to Punchlist/Variations item resolution efficiency, including:
The Punchlist/Variations widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
"Purchase order" widget
The Purchase Order widget displays a real-time snapshot of your project’s material orders and deliveries. It also provides insights in to which suppliers are being used the most frequently and inefficiencies in logistics.
The Purchase Order widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
"Request for Information" (RFI) widget
The Request for Information widget displays a real-time snapshot of your project’s RFI register. It also provides insights in to RFI resolution efficiency and notes the date the next RFI is due to be actioned.
The average days to close a RFI notice is also displayed to give team members an idea of the average turn around time for RFI approvals.
The RFI widget can be seen by your project team only (i.e. contacts from outside of your organisation collaborating on your project will not be able to see these).
"Safety" widget
The Safety widget displays a real-time snapshot of your project’s Safety Register and provides insights in to the most problematic areas and services on site.
It also shows metrics related to safety items resolution efficiency, including:
